HAND OF PRAYER

hand of prayer web 2-1

STAY with JESUS

Continuously Prayer

Use your hand as a living symbol or metaphor to continuous prayer.
Your hand is part of your prayer life; it is connected to your prayer life.
Your hand is playing a big part in the process to make your prayer life visible.

Pray without ceasing. 1 Thessalonians 5:17. This verse is true in using your hand in prayer.

My hand becomes the hand of Jesus

You will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover. Mark 16:18.
Greeting persons with your hand will be a point of contact and to bless them.
The way you give with your hand will be a blessing and it will multiply.
The way you use your hand is an extended outreach to others supporting your prayers.

His Presence – Thumb

His presence emphasizes His life on your life.
God’s permanent presence changed your whole life.
God’s presence fill up all shortcomings, emptiness and longings.

Pray: Give me faith to believe in your presence. Let me realize your presence.

Verse:
Matthew 28:20. I am with you always, even to the end of the age.
Hebrews 13:5. I will never leave you nor forsake you.
Psalm 16:11. God will show us the path of life, in His presence is fullness of joy.

His Power – Point finger

God’s presence also revealed His power.
God’s presence and His power cannot be divided from each other. It is the core of every Christian life.
Presence and power goes hand in hand. When the Holy Spirit is present in your heart, you have the power of God.

Pray: Your presence gives me power to be an effective witness and instrument for you.

Verse:
Ephesians 6:10. My brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
2 Peter 1:3. His divine power has given unto us all things that pertain to life and godliness.
Acts 1:8. You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you.
James 5:16. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.

His Plan – Long finger

Faith in God’s power revealed His plan for my life. God’s plan for me is faith and vision in action. I believe His word and promises that it will bring me goodness and mercy. If you are obedient, then His blessings and healing will be upon you. Deuteronomy 28:3-14.

Pray: let me have faith in your Power, and open my eyes so that I can see your perfect plan for my life according to your word.

Verse:
Jeremiah 29:11. We know the plans you have for us, says the Lord, plans to prosper, plans to give us hope and a future.

His Provision – Ring finger

God is very rich. All things in heaven and earth belong to Him. God has provided for Himself the lamb for a burnt offering. Genesis 22:8. Through Jesus Christ, God shall supply all your needs, whether it is spiritually or earthly. It is written that He will do it. God will give us today our daily bread and He saved our souls through His Son.

Pray: Thank you Father for your provision through Jesus Christ. I am blessed.

Verse:
2 Corinthians 9:8. God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have abundance for every good work.
Genesis 22:14. The Lord Will Provide.
Philippians 4:19. God shall provide in all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

His Protection – Short finger

If God will provide then He also will protect. There is not a moment in life or spiritual level that we can afford to go without his protection from and against; postponement of Biblical truths, accentuation of minors and secondary, immorality, sin and all forms of unrighteousness and blemishes.

Pray: Deliver us from the evil one.

Verse:
Psalm 91:14. Because he loves me, says the Lord, I will rescue him; I will protect him, for he acknowledges my name.
Psalm 121:5. The Lord watches over you.
1 Samuel 2:9. He will guard the feet of His saints.
1 Thessalonians 5:23. May the God of peace Himself sanctify you completely; and may your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless.

His Perfectness – Palm

Ephesians 4:13. The target of our prayer life is to grow in unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. Romans 3:22. The righteousness of God is through faith in Jesus Christ, being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus. We are perfect and complete in and through Jesus Christ.

Pray: Let me find out the deep things of God, Job 11:7, let me go on to perfection in Jesus Christ, Hebrews 6:1, make me complete in every good work to do His will, Hebrews 13:21.

Verse:
Ephesians 1:4. He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight.
2 Corinthians 5:17. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.
Hebrews 10:14. By one single offering, He has forever completely cleansed and perfected us who are sanctified and made holy.

His Praises – Lift your hands, clap your hands

The Lord dwells in the praises of his people.

Pray: Lord, I lift up my hands in your name.

Verse:
1 Timothy 2:8. I desire therefore that when you pray everywhere, lifting up holy hands.

Hebrews 13:14-15. Through Jesus, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of our lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.

Connect more promise verses to each finger and make the Hand of Prayer part of your daily way of living, and see how the blessings and victories come true for you, because the promises of God is yes and amen.

The hand of God

Acts 4:29. Now, Lord, grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word, by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus. And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.

Isaiah 59:1. behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; nor His ear heavy, that it cannot hear. But your iniquities have separated you from God, and your sins have hidden His face from you.

1 Peter 5:10. Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.

1 Samuel 5:11: They sent and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines, and said: Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it go back to its own place, so that it does not kill us and our people. For there was a deadly destruction throughout all the city; the hand of God was very heavy there.

The road to activate the hand of God to intervention: (The Elijah way 1 Kings 18:30-46)
1.
Reparation of the altar:
Elijah said to all the people. Come near to me. And he repaired the altar of the Lord that was broken down. Then with the stones he built an altar in the name of the Lord.
Reparation of the broken altar of our own life, home and church. This building of the altar is an ongoing everyday built of our spiritual house till we die. The living stones of your altar/building are fitted together with PRAYER and it must grow into a holy temple and dwelling place of God in the Spirit.

Ephesians 2:19-22. You are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, having been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ Himself being the chief cornerstone, in whom the whole building, being fitted togethergrows  into a holy temple in the Lord, in whom you are also being built together for a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
Ephesians 4:11-12. Jesus Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry for the edifying of the body of Christ, till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.
1 Peter 2:4. Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.

2. Fire of the Lord:
Hear me, o Lord, hear me, that this people may know that you are the Lord God, and that you have turned their hearts back to you again. Then the fire of the Lord fell and consumed the burnt sacrifice.
If this building or altar of you is ongoing kept repaired and restored with prayer, the fire and power of the Holy Spirit will stay on your life, home and church. You will have a fervent heart and spirit. Acts 1:8.

3. Execute the idols:
Elijah said, “Seize the prophets of Baal! Do not let one of them escape!” So they seized them; and Elijah brought them down to the Brook Kishon and executed them there.
Colossians 3:5. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in god. Therefore, put to death your members which are on earth; fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire and idolatry.
2 Corinthians 7:1. Cleanse yourself from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit.
This is the danger part. Many children of God just stumble here. They are committed children of God. Their spiritual house stands, and there is fire on their altar. But the lust of the flesh takes the upper hand and makes them defeated. This must be dealt with immediately. Slaughter these sins.

4. Prophecy:
Elijah said to Ahab “Go up, eat and drink, for there is the sound of abundance of rain”.
Ezekiel 37:4. Start prophesy to the dry bones, and say to them: hear the word of the Lord: “Surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live”.
The gifts of the Holy Spirit will be activated and will manifest in your life. 1 Corinthians 12.
Ephesians 5:11,13. Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. All things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light.
If you have victory over your idols, you can start prophesy, and exposed the unfruitful works of the darkness.

5. Pray: THE EXTRA STEP:
Then Elijah went up to the top of Carmel. Then he bowed down on the ground, and put his face between his knees.
Start to pray continuously. Take the extra step further. Elijah went to the top of the mountain. In Gethsemane, Jesus went a distance further to pray.
Matthew 6:6. When you pray, go into your room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in the secret place, and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly.
This is where you get a vision for a church, town or country to be saved and the presence, power and blessings of God’s rain is poured out.

6. God’s intervention:
Then it came to pass the seventh time, there is a cloud as small as a man’s hand rising up from the sea.
Acts 16:25: At midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God. Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken, and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed.
God will intervene with His mighty hand, and miracles will start happening. Acts 4:30.

7. Rain:
The sky became black with clouds and wind and there was a heavy rain.
Suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house. Acts 2:2 and Acts 4:31.
This rain came down on the whole country of Israel. Also on the wicked king Ahab and his wife. This rain is the presence, peace, grace, rewards and blessings of God.
The Holy Spirit will convict people everywhere. In the streets, under in the mines, in the schools. People will run to God.

8. God put His hand upon you:
Then the hand of the Lord came upon Elijah, and he girded up his loins and ran ahead of Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.
Acts 8:39. The Spirit of the Lord caught Philip away.
This is to walk in the Spirit.
